Spider Vein Reduction

About Sclerotherapy

Millions of women and men are bothered by spider veins- those small, thin and unsightly cluster of red, blue or purple veins that that lie close to the surface of the skin and most commonly appear on the thighs, calves, and ankles.

There are several factors that contribute, including heredity, pregnancy, hormonal shifts, weight gain, prolonged sitting or standing, and most common of all is poor circulation. Sclerotherapy works wonders on these types of veins.

How It Works

In this rather simple procedure, veins are injected with a sclerosing solution and a numbing agent for comfort, which causes them to collapse and fade from view.  The procedure may also remedy the bothersome symptoms associated with spider veins, including aching, burning, swelling, and night cramps.
